Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer in-person sessions?

At this time I do not offer in-person appointments.

Do you take insurance?

I currently do not take insurance. However, you may have out-of-network benefits that allow you to be reimbursed for your sessions. I can provide documentation, called superbills, that you can submit to your insurance company. I always advise clients to check with their insurance company regarding coverage. If you have questions about the process reach out to me!

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes! I offer free, 30-minute, phone or video consultations. I believe in ensuring we are a good fit for each other before we schedule and before you pay. You can schedule a free consultation here.

How often do I need to come to therapy?

I find that establishing the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of effective therapy. It can be beneficial, in the beginning, to see each other weekly to gain trust, establish rapport, and work on gaining important coping strategies. This is not required, though. I will always take into account your availability and budget when deciding on frequency. We may meet every other week or monthly - depending on where you are in your journey.

Still have questions?

I am happy to answer them for you.
